Summer 2027
Adult Team — Prague to Munich
Two great tennis cities, 21 and over. By popular request.
- Dates
- July 23 – August 8, 2027
- Countries
- Czech Republic · Germany
- Who it's for
- Adults 21 and over who have mastered the basics and are ready for match play. The minimum level is 2.5 to 3.0 NTRP, and most of our participants are 3.0 to 6.0 NTRP — good club-level players are welcome. Couples and singles are both welcome — and if one partner plays and the other does not, we can offer non-tennis alternatives.
Where you go
Prague, Czech Republic
Eight days based at the Hotel International in Prague 6, a quieter, greener part of the city with easy access to both our tennis and the centre. Two sessions a day — mornings on a skill, afternoons in friendly matches with our Czech tennis friends. Our main base is Tennis Club Bubenec, with a day or two at the Czech Lawn Tennis Club on Stvanice Island, the oldest and most prestigious club in the country. The week ends with a Czech–American challenge match.
Munich, Germany
Eight days at the 4-star Scheck Hotel in Unterföhring, with the Scheck Club's 15 outdoor and 12 indoor courts directly next door — stay and play in one place. Two sessions a day with a recovery break between. The week builds to a full-day USA–Germany Tennis Challenge, and closes with a farewell dinner.
We leave the USA on Friday July 23, arriving in Prague on Saturday July 24, and fly home on Sunday August 8.
Our coaches
Michael LeVan · Leland, Michigan
With over two decades in the sport and seven summers coaching for Tennis: Europe, Michael brings a background spanning player development, adult clinics, tournament operations and mentorship-driven leadership. As a player he competed at the national level, reaching a career-high NCAA Division III ranking of 34 for Principia College in St. Louis, where he is the all-time record-holder for wins. He has directed junior and adult club programs and coached high school and college teams. As a long-time tournament player himself he understands what players need technically, mentally and emotionally — and having played red clay for seven summers, he knows the adjustments the surface demands.
Natalie Kohoutkova · Prague, Czech Republic
Natalie is a Czech tennis coach based in Prague with both American collegiate and international coaching experience. She played her college tennis at Valdosta State University in Georgia, a Division II powerhouse, earning a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies — majoring in sociology and psychology, minoring in coaching — and is now completing a Master's in International Studies in Prague.
She has several years of coaching experience in Prague across private lessons, group training, camps and tournaments. This past summer she worked in Greece at the Costa Navarino Tennis Center, part of the Mouratoglou academy.
Depending on numbers, we may add an additional coach. Director Dr. Martin Vinokur will join the team for part of the trip.
