Our Trips

We are a tennis tournament circuit with a goal of playing a lots of matches in a short period of time. Our coaches analyze these matches and then give feedback to players afterwards -- your strong points and where you need improvement. We follow-up with instructional practices between tournaments to correct the mistakes we noticed in our analysis, especially focusing on strategy, patterns of play and mental approach. This will make you an improved, stronger player when you return home to school and USTA tournament tennis.

In Europe on red clay, we improve your construction of a point, your steadiness and clay specialties like drop shots.

50th Anniversary Team

June 28th to July 23th (26 days) or July 14 (17 days)

Note: This will be a mixed team in ability levels with both school varsity players and ranked players as we have done in several past summers. If we have enough interest, we will offer two separate teams, National and 50th Anniversary. Ask us for details.

Wimbledon, London: June 29th - July 2nd

Your dreams of seeing Wimbledon can come true!
  • We see Wimbledon on the very first day when all the courts on the grounds are in action. We wander the grounds and see a number of top matches. In past summers, we even got some top players’ autographs at the practice courts!
  • We spend Saturday and most of Sunday visiting Westminster area of the city, featuring interesting sights including the Parliament buildings, Westminster Abby and 10 Downing Street, home of the Prime Minister.
  • We also visit the Tower of London, Leicester and Piccadilly Squares and spend an optional evening at the London theatre.
  • We have our first practice of the trip at Bishop’s Park Tennis Club near our hotel in order to prepare for our first tournament.

Prague: July 2nd - July 7th

  • Our tennis tournaments begin in Prague with a 3 day age group under 18 singles and doubles. Depending on the Czech schedule, we may also have a second tournament. Our housing is at a comfortable and spacious four star hotel, which is a 5-10 minute walk from our practice courts at the Oaza Tennis Club. Our hotel is also a short walk from one of Prague’s major shopping malls.
  • Prague is one of the most popular European destinations, a city of red rooftops and Golden spires, scenic hills and enduring landmarks. Prague is also a youthful city, home to many semester abroad high school and college students.
  • Major sights include Prague Castle, the Old Town Square and clock, the medieval Charles Bridge and the Old Jewish Quarter, including Europe’s oldest synagogue and cemetery. We will have one or two professional sightseeing tours with guide during our stay.

Castelldefels and Barcelona, Spain: July 7th - July 14th

  • Depending on ability level, we will play one or two tournaments in a suburb of Barcelona, Castelldefels, a scenic seaside resort with sandy beaches. One tournament has 16s, 18s and mens or ladies’ singles while the other is a satellite adult singles. This is Challenging competition in one of the top tennis countries in the world. You also will have the opportunity to practice your Spanish throughout the week.
  • We house at a 3 star hotel 20 minutes south of Barcelona and from the tournament site and practice at a nearby club or at the tournament site. We are within walking distance of the Canal Olympic water sports center, built for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, which offers various water sports from water skiing to boogie boarding. The town of Castelldefels offers a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
  • Later in the week, we will visit Barcelona to see Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia Church, the unfinished masterpiece of architect Antonio Gaudi and voted Europe’s #1 sightseeing attraction by the travel media. Our visit will include a professional guided tour. We also walk the famous Ramblas, stopping at the marketplace and the Old City, with its Gothic cathedral. We also take in the harbor and the upscale Gran Via with its Gaudi apartments and shopping stores. A world class city with all its history, delicious food and amazing sights.
  • Those traveling with us for the shorter time period will fly back to the USA from Barcelona on Sunday July 14th.

Leiden, The Netherlands or Switzerland: July 14th to July 23rd

  • We then fly to Holland to play the Leiden Open which has a number of different draws done by ability level (like a UTR tournament in States) and not by age. Everyone can play either 2 singles or 1 singles and 1 doubles. We will practice either at the tournament club or nearby club. For our more advanced players, if selected, they can play in the qualification draw for a satellite as a third draw
  • The friendly Dutch always make us feel welcome off the court and we have had BBQs, and boat rides at this tournament, which was voted “Best Stop” on previous trips.
  • At the end of the week, we will visit the major sights of Amsterdam, about 40 minutes away, including the Anne Frank House, the diamond factory, the city hall and walking street. We are also located close to The Hague, Capital of Holland, with its North Sea beach and boardwalk and The International Court of Justice.
INSTEAD OF LEIDEN, HOLLAND, we will consider SWITZERLAND OR GERMANY:
Instead of Holland for our final tournament week, we will also consider Switzerland and Germany. In both those countries, tournaments are generally three days long, giving us the possibility of playing two tournaments during the same week or one tournament and several days of friendly matches against clubs there. We have played numerous tournaments in scenic Switzerland at locations from Geneva to Lausanne and Alpine settings like Zermatt and Crans-Montana. The Swiss schedule comes out in early April. In Germany, we have played at tournaments from Hamburg to Cologne to Munich. We will know more about the 2024 German schedule in late January.

THE 2024 PARIS OLYMPICS:
Tennis: Europe has attended the Olympics as a post-trip offering in 1992 (The Dream Team in Barcelona) and in 2012 in London. IF we have enough interest, at least 9 players, we will climax our 50th Anniversary celebration by attending the 2024 Paris Olympics, assuming we can get event tickets and housing.

Tuition:
$9999 for 26 days
$7499 for 17 days

(Post-trip 2024 Paris Olympics pricing TBD)
