Grand Slam Team, July 5th to July 25th (21 days)

For high school level or ranked players.

This spectacular itinerary has it all – ranging from Wimbledon to the Capital city of Holland and to the beaches near Barcelona!   Our trip starts with a day at the Grand Slam at Wimbledon for the round of 64 or 32, along with sightseeing in London for two days and our first practice session.  We see Westminster Abby, 10 Downing Street and the Parliament buildings, along with the historic Tower of London and Picadilly Circus.   Crossing the Channel, we begin with the Open Mariahoeve tournament in The Hague, which has 2 singles and 1 doubles per player at various ability level draws.   This club has 29 outdoor courts, a nightly BBQ and social activities.  Besides seeing The Hague, we will visit Amsterdam during the week to see the Anne Frank house, the Van Gogh or Riksmuseum and the walking streets.  Flying to Barcelona, we stay in the beachside resort town of Castelldefels, a 10 minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach and 15 km from the center of the former Olympic city.  Our final Spanish Tennis Federation tournament has under 16s, 18s and mens or ladies singles, with practice courts close to our hotel.  Our last two days are spent in Barcelona, where we see sights like Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia and apartments, the Ramblas walking street, the modern harbor area and the stadium of European soccer powerhouse FC Barcelona.  Practice your Spanish skills non-stop for this week and play one of the top tennis countries in the world!
